Dry operationClick here to view some of our Steelmaster SMD dry operating machines. Advantages of dry operation:
The heavy duty SMD dry operating line of Steelmaster machines has many similar features as its wet counterparts. Every Steelmaster has a 10” touch screen that enables the user to set up the machine in a matter of seconds. The Steelmaster SMD line comes in three working widths:
Low maintenanceOther than cleaning, there is not a lot that needs to be done to keep a Steelmaster running. The only items in the machine that actually wear are the abrasive tools as they are the only parts that come into contact with the parts that need to be processed. For very thin parts the conveyor belt may be a wear item.
Aggressive operationThe advantage of a dry machine over a wet machine is that it is more aggressive. When working on thicker parts it is ideal in removing very large burrs or slag. A special application in dry deburring is slag grinding*. For further information on slag grinding click here. The Steelmaster finishing and deburring machines can also be hooked up to an automated production line where they can be operated from a central-controlled panel. |
